My experiences - Are paid surveys serious?

To be honest, my experiences are not only positive. In the beginning I didn't get the information I needed and then I registered randomly with various panels. In the process, I got on the wrong side of some dubious providers. Not only have I wasted a lot of time here, it has also cost me a lot of nerves if the payouts failed to materialize. Since it worked out well with some market researchers, I stayed on the ball. It was worth it for me!



For over 7 years I have been working together with a whole range of opinion researchers and have constantly tried out new ones in the niche of paid surveys. In the process, the wheat definitely separated from the chaff. What remains are almost 15 market research companies with whom I still work today. My conclusion after several years as a participant of paid online surveys:

If you know the right panels, you can really earn money with answering surveys on the Internet. You don't have to work hard and the best thing about working as a survey participant is that you can work comfortably from home at any time. If you work fast, you can even get a comparatively good hourly wage. People with a good grasp, who can quickly handle a PC or smartphone, may receive an hourly rate of 5-10 euros per hour, depending on the online panel or survey.

My most important findings:

1. be careful when filling in the profile or the first surveys. If you make contradictory statements in the questionnaires, then some companies will sort you out in the later surveys using catch questions. These catch questions are used to sort out bots or unfair participants who just click their way through the survey to make a quick buck. These kind of users are unwanted by the pollsters and get kicked or banned soon. You can find a lot of negative reviews about online surveys from these people after they got screened out or banned from the services. If you don't provide honest answers, you won't get paid in the long run!

2. who participates only with a market researcher, does not obtain as a rule monthly incomes. Per opinion researcher one creates in the best case a payout every 2-3 months. One might lose motivation fast this way. One has then simply too few inquiries in the month in order to earn thereby seriously money. So that the money flows monthly, I recommend the registration with several survey sites. I personally recommend 3-5 pages to beginners. With more it becomes unclear fast. With less there is no monthly cash flow.

3. For the registration with the panels a new E-Mail address is recommended, so one can keep work and private inbox apart better. The private mailbox remains free of invitations to online surveys. You can also unsubscribe from email invitations at most panels, but it's easier to use a new email account immediately.

The registration at all panels for paid market research presented here is free of charge for the survey participant. If a provider should ever demand money for participation, the offer is certainly dubious.

Can one earn money with surveys for real?

As mentioned at the beginning, not all paid surveys are serious. But from my experience most of them are. The companies I present work reliably with their users. They are interested in a long-term cooperation with the study participants. In individual cases, however, there may still be problems with the support of the sometimes hundreds of thousands of active members. DSince I earn money since years successfully with surveys, I can confirm that one gets paid out. Usually this happens by Paypal transactions or by bank transfer. Partly also coupons, e.g. from Amazon, Douglas or Zalando are dispatched. With these you can then shop in the respective online shops. The payment by cheque is also available rarely. Are paid surveys fraud?

There are black sheep like everywhere else, but the good panels do not rip off the panelists! These carry out surveys on behalf of corporations and brand owners. The opinion research companies are paid by the clients of the study for the data collection within the scope of the online survey as well as for the anonymous evaluation of these. The pollsters then use these funds to pay the survey participants in return. This takes the form of an expense allowance for their assistance and the answer to the study. This is a solid business model that works reliably. This can be seen from the fact that all participants benefit from it.

Conclusion:

You can earn money with paid surveys. If done right even more than with most of the other ways to earn money from home. If you type in "home work" or "earning money online" as search term into a search engine, you certainly know what I mean. There one finds very many offers which are laid out on rip-off and fraud. There are also a few websites where you can earn money, but the outcome is pretty low which makes it actually no fun to work for these websites.
